Why do you need USN PRO RECOVER? The nutrient requirement in athletes is highest immediately after intense and prolonged physical activity. The 30 - 45 minute window after training or events is a crucial time during which the body races to recover as quickly as possible. The body’s evolutionary instinct to immediately replace muscle glycogen (our first and main source of energy) means that it will use whatever nutrients are available, including amino acids present in muscle tissue, resulting in muscle wastage. By rapidly supplying carbohydrates to replace glycogen, as well as fast acting protein to replace amino acids, the body recovers quickly, without breaking down existing muscle tissue for amino acids.
USN’s PRO RECOVER is precisely formulated as a post-training/event recovery drink to use after sporting events/training lasting 90-120 minutes. USN’s PRO RECOVER may also be valuable in enhancing recovery from shorter duration, high-intensity activities like sprinting, rugby, power-lifting, weight-lifting etc. The carbohydrates consist of an ideal ratio of fast acting long-chain glucose polymers and simple sugars for rapid energy replacement.
Protein is supplied mainly in the form of premium whey protein, which has the highest bioavailability, absorption rate and retention of all protein sources.

Directions for Use

Mix ±2 scoops (95g) with 400-500ml of cold water (vary the amount of water to achieve your desired flavour and sweetness level) and shake or stir vigorously for 30 seconds.
