CINNAMON ROLLS RECIPE

USN DIET WHEY ISOLEAN VANILLA CINNAMON PROTEIN ROLLS

Makes 6 rolls

 

DOUGH:
60 ml coconut flour
1 scoop Diet Whey IsoLean Protein, Vanilla flavour
4 tsp. xylitol or stevia
1 egg white
3 tbsp. almond milk
¼ tsp. baking powder

 

FILLING:
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp xylitol or stevia
30 ml water

 

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 180˚C.
2. Combine all the dough ingredients in a bowl, sprinkle some more coconut flour over the dough to ensure it doesn’t stick to your hands.
3. Place dough directly onto a baking sheet and roll into a rectangle & about ½ cm thick.
4. Spread filling onto the rolled dough.
5. Coat your hands in coconut flour and begin rolling the rectangle of dough up into a cylinder shape.
6. Bake at 180˚C for 12 mins, until golden and crisp on the outside.
7. Slice into individual rolls.
8. Extra tip: you could also add a little decadence by mixing some plain cream cheese and almond milk together and pouring it over while warm.
